Travel grants are awarded to musicians and industry professionals seeking opportunities in international markets - for example, through concert tours, participation in trade delegations, trade fairs, and showcase festivals. Grants are also awarded to composers for the premiere of musical works, and to professionals for career-related travel, such as attending conferences and networking events.
The grants are awarded every two months, with the most recent application deadline having passed on February 1st. A total of 39 projects applied, and the allocation committee decided to grant 19 projects a total of 4,725,000 ISK.
The next application deadline is April 1, 2026.
