Travel grants are awarded to musicians and music professionals seeking opportunities in larger markets, for example through tours, participation in delegations, trade shows, and showcase festivals. Grants are also provided to composers for the premiere of works.
The grants are allocated every two months, and the most recent application deadline was 1 October. A total of 35 applications were received, requesting ISK 8,975,000 in total funding. The allocation committee decided to award ISK 3,075,000 to 12 projects.
