Iceland Music recently concluded its participation at the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. In collaboration with Business Iceland and Artists for Action, we hosted an official showcase at the venue Inn Cahoots, where RAKEL and Spacestation performed to a capacity crowd.

Prior to the performances, an industry and media reception was held at the same venue. The gathering served as a dedicated platform to present the Record in Iceland and Film in Iceland refund schemes to an engaged international audience. A core objective of these incentive programmes is to promote Iceland as a premier destination for music and film projects so presenting them at a forum as prestigious and influential as SXSW represents a significant opportunity for the Icelandic creative industries.
