It has likely not escaped many that the solstice festival BERGMÁL takes place this weekend, on June 20th, at Þingvellir. There, KALEO will take the stage alongside a select lineup of Icelandic artists, including Emilíana Torrini, Mugison, Stuðmenn, Helgi Björns, Hjálmar, GDRN, Júníus Meyvant, KK, Árný Margrét, and more.

To mark this solstice celebration at Þingvellir, we invited KALEO to curate our Iceland Music Indie playlist. The selection features the band’s closest contemporaries from recent years, the freshest tracks from the Icelandic indie scene, and a few choice songs that underscore the band's musical roots.

The music invites us to pack a tent and sing along at the top of our lungs with good friends. The playlist is thus the perfect companion for the summer's adventures, whether you are heading to Þingvellir or elsewhere.
