11 New Icelandic Artists Just Added to the Iceland Airwaves Lineup

Iceland Airwaves, Reykjavík’s critically acclaimed new music festival has announced new artists to its 2025 music program, taking place from 6th - 8th November 2025.

With the news, the festival  also revealed a new venue addition, BIRD, and three-days of stage takeovers at Reykjavík Art Museum in partnership with Flaunt Magazine, Notion, and The Line of Best Fit.

Maintaining its legacy of showcasing the best in emerging Icelandic talent, this year’s lineup will feature performances from award-winning Reykavík-born pop sensation Bríet, genre-blurring experimental outfit CYBER, silky sweet brother duo Prince of the City, psychedelic voyagers Mukka, electronic pop alchemist Máni Orrason, ethereal multi-instrumentalist Andervel, captivating vocalist Ólöf Arnalds, futuristic pop provocateur Sigrún, indie-rock renegades Flesh Machine. The festival will also welcome back familiar faces from previous editions, such as Palestinian star Bashar Murad, who will bring his bold blend of pop hooks and sharp social commentary to captivated audiences.
